Adam R. Miller, M.D.

Dr. Adam Miller is a board certified, comprehensive ophthalmologist who has served the Dallas community as an eye physician and surgeon since 2010.

Dr. Miller grew up in a suburb of sunny Southern California before completing his undergraduate training at the University of California – Los Angeles.  While there, he majored in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology and minored in Music History – all while earning Summa Cum LaudeCollege Honors, and Highest Departmental Honors in the process.  He then stayed at UCLA for medical school, serving as his class president during his first year and later leading groups dedicated to improving eye health in the local community.  After receiving advice from his mentors in Los Angeles, Dr. Miller completed a challenging, yet rewarding, residency in ophthalmology at UT Southwestern and Parkland Health and Hospital System in 2013.  After graduation, Dr. Miller enjoyed two successful years in private practice before developing plans for his current office location.

Dr. Miller’s interests include the treatment of conditions such as cataractdiabetic eye diseaseglaucoma, and macular degeneration.  As a cataract surgeon, he has experience with several types of lenses designed to minimize the postoperative effects of astigmatism or presbyopia (blurring of near vision).  He offers laser procedures to treat after-cataract blurring and certain types of glaucoma.  Additionally, he has performed many therapeutic injections for patients who have experienced vision loss from bleeding or swelling within the eye.

Dr. Miller’s wife, Emily, is a Nurse Practitioner who chose to stay home with their two children, Natalia and Nico.  They also care for a four-legged child, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, who is affectionately named “Danger.”  Dr. Miller’s additional hobbies including following his hometown sports teams (LakersDodgersUCLA Bruins), traveling, and trying new restaurants.
